DANTE has launched the tender for a replacement Mediterranean R&E network called EUMEDCONNECT2

The Network

The EUMEDCONNECT2 network will replace and further develop the EUMEDCONNECT Mediterranean regional network connecting research and education communities in North Africa and the Middle East to each other and also, by its links to GEANT2, with Europe.

Participation in the Tender

To express interest in participating in the tender, candidates must email to eumed-coordinator@dante.org.uk at the latest by 2 January 2008. This expression of interest needs to include the candidate's response to Section III.2.1) and Section III.2.2) of the Contract Notice. For your information the relevant parts of Article 45 of directive 2004/18/EC referred to in Section III.2.1) are extracted [here]. 

Expressing interest in the tender does not place the candidate under any commitment, but is essential to participate in later stages of the tender.
